Staff will confirm all project locations and tasks prior to your date of service.

All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Agreement form prior to doing any work. Forms will be provided and staff will collect them when individuals/groups arrive.  (Forms must be completed at least once every calendar year.)

All volunteers 19 and older serving at a worksite without staff present must also have a current (within the last three years) national background check prior to serving.  Background checks may be verified by:

1. Submitting the month and year of current background check along with full name
   *Email jrickert@asphome.org to submit name/date information.
2. Submitting a background check request through ASP's Protect My Ministry online portal.  ($10.00 online credit card payment)
   *Once a background check has been submitted, please notify jrickert@asphome.org with full name and date of submission.

 Other reminders include:

• Work site dress - sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, and shirts with sleeves (no sleeveless).
• Dress appropriate for the weather.  The work site can sometimes be chilly and muddy. 
• Safety equipment (work gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, dust masks, hard hats, etc.) will be provided and may need to be worn.
• Please bring water to stay hydrated throughout the day.
