Trip Options:
For most dates listed below, you may choose SUNDAY or THURSDAY arrival. Sunday arrival group may choose 2-5 workdays; Thursday arrival is for 2 workdays. Any exceptions to that schedule must be approved by the Volunteer Department prior to receiving your registration. College spring break weeks are all Sunday arrival with 5 workdays. 

TYPES OF PROJECTS:

Groups serving in East TN may be placed on home repair, new construction, or disaster recovery projects. We ask groups to remain flexible on the type of project based on the biggest current need, project timing, and skill level match. Groups may request a specific type of project, but should be open to other project types as well.

FEES AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE:

Cost is $75 per person per work day 

• $95 Group Registration Fee due with registration 
• Within 30 days of registration - $50 per person due
• 90 days from your trip date - Group Count Commitment Form due
• 90 days from your trip date - 60% of remaining balance per person due
• 30 days from your trip date - Final balance per person due.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

Groups are predominately all-adult or college, but these trips are also open to intergenerational groups and high school youth (volunteers in ETN must have completed 8th grade).

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR GROUP:

• Select your trip week and click REGISTER
• Complete Previous Involvement page. Upper section if returning. Lower section if new; Then click NEXT
• If new, create your user name and password , then click NEXT
• Enter personal contact information, then CREATE ACCOUNT
• Reserve space for your group - indicate your team size, then CREATE NEW GROUP
• Enter your group information and follow remaining steps to completion.
• Group Code is assigned.
• Receive email confirmation with Group Code, User id, and Password
• Provide Group Code to all team members

ASP Cancellation Policy:

The number of participants in your group may be increased, as availability permits, or decreased with confirmation from the Volunteer Department. Groups are expected to be conservative when submitting their initial participant count, as ASP allocates resources—including leasing centers and hiring staff—based on these estimates. If your group’s count changes at any point, you must notify the Volunteer Department immediately, as available spots may be reassigned to other groups. Participant counts may be increased at any time, provided space remains available. 

• Before the second deposit deadline (YR: 90 days pre-trip/Summer: March 1): If you reduce your count, mission fees paid for canceled spots may be applied toward the balance of fees for your remaining participants. If you cancel your trip, mission fees may be refunded in full upon request. 

• After the second deposit deadline: If you reduce your count or cancel your trip, both the first and second deposits for canceled spots are non-refundable and will be forfeited. If you are behind on the payment schedule at the time of cancellation, you will still owe the first and second deposits for those dropped spots. Refunds or transfers after the deadline will be considered only in the case of documented illness, accident, or emergency.
