HELPING HANDS VOLUNTEERS MUST BE EXPERIENCED ASP VOLUNTEERS OR MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO REGISTRATION. THIS PROGRAM IS FOR INDIVIDUAL ADULTS.

While Helping Hands are welcome to request a specific state or county, we do ask for your flexibility and understanding if there is a greater need in another location. Thank you!

Center Support Role:
Serve at a center that needs support with non-worksite/construction tasks. Run errands, assist with center clean-up and organization or any other jobs that may come up throughout the week. We ask that those who sign up for this role are flexible! 

• For this role, a Helping Hand would be assigned to a center that needs support with non- worksite/construction tasks. 
• Examples of tasks can include buying groceries, sending mail to Johnson City, restocking supplies at the center, taking out the trash, daily sanitation of center, assisting the staff with morning load up routine, etc.  
• For this option, we ask for communication with staff and a high level of flexibility as tasks may change quickly.  
• If asked to make purchases, HH’s will keep any receipts and pass them off to the staff Finance Coordinator for reimbursement.

There is NO CHARGE to participate in this program.

Sign up as a TRIP COORDINATOR  and select the invoice option as your payment method.

How to register as a Helping Hands Volunteer:

• Select the HH Trip at the bottom of this page  and then click REGISTER
• Complete Previous Involvement page.  Upper section if returning.  Lower section if new; then click NEXT
• If new, create your user name and password, then click NEXT
• Enter personal contact information, then CREATE ACCOUNT
• Reserve space as a Trip Coordinator, indicate a team size of 1, then CREATE NEW GROUP
• Enter the group information, even though you are not a 'group' and complete the HH profile questions
• Follow steps to completion
• Group code is assigned
• Email confirmation sent to you with Group Code, Username, and Password
